About the Photographer:

Born and raised in South Africa, with the bushveld just beyond my doorstep, I developed a connection to the wild from an early age. My passion for the authentic safari experience and the wildlife that defines it has always been the foundation of my work.

Many of my photographs are taken in the Umbabat Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger region. With a family bungalow nestled deep in the Umbabat, I’ve spent years immersed in this landscape, capturing the commanding presence of the Big Five and the textures of the bushveld.

In addition to my wildlife work, my role in the thoroughbred industry has shaped an appreciation for the equine athlete. My keen eye is attuned to both form and feeling – capturing moments of movement, strength, and grace. Each portrait I create becomes a timeless keepsake, treasured by owners and those who admire horses.

Each frame I compose is thoughtfully created with an artistic eye, capturing stories of light, emotion, and a connection to the natural world.

Now based in Australia, my partner Abs and I work together to share the raw, soulful beauty of the African wilderness. Through the lens, we carry a piece of Africa with us.
